Environmental Traveling Companions

"This is more than a recreation program for individuals with disabilities. To stand up on a pair or skis for the first time and get somewhere is always going to make our kids feel that much better aobut their abilities. To stand before their peers and the whole ETC family and share their talents and thoughts unabashedly warmed all our hearts."

-- Janet Richman, Down Syndrome League

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

Thick blankets of snow turn the Sierra into a playground for your group each winter. ETC winter activities include cross-country skiing with basic instruction, playing in the snow, exploring the giant sequoia forests of Big Trees State Park, indoor and outdoor games, natural history talks, informal music lessons and plenty of laughs and fun!

We ski at the Bear Valley Cross Country Ski Resort in Bear Valley, California. We are happy to tailor trips to meet your group's specific interests and needs.
