We are currently looking for New Sea Kayak and River Program Volunteers! No experience is necessary! Simply download the Volunteer Application form and apply for your preferred program. See below for more information about each program.
Training for new Sea Kayak Program Volunteers will begin with an evening classroom session in San Francisco on March 27, 2013. On water training will take place on April 13 & 14 with day sessions in Sausalito, and as a 4-day/3-night kayak trip to Angel Island. Kayak training will conclude with a night session in San Francisco, April 30. There is also a mandatory Disability Awareness Training held at our River Camp May 18 & 19. Volunteers are the heart and soul of ETC, and represent diverse cultures, ages, occupations, and abilities. We provide expert training in wilderness skills, first aid, disability / diversity awareness, and environmental education. Every volunteer brings their own special talents and enthusiasm to the adventure. That is why so many of our participant groups return, year after year!
