American River – South Fork
Raft one of California’s most celebrated whitewater runs! The South Fork of the American River is lively, playful, and offers both calm water and thrilling rapids. In the heart of Gold Rush Country, the river winds through rolling hills and breathtaking gorges. Class II and III rapids make the South Fork perfect for both beginners and seasoned whitewater veterans. ETC’s accessible, ecologically designed river camp is the perfect setting for exciting one-day or multi-day whitewater adventures.

Other Rivers
For the more adventurous, ETC offers extended expeditions on the Klamath, Yampa, Rogue, Colorado, and other rivers—each chosen for spectacular scenery and excitement.

Grand Canyon (August 26 – September 9, 2012)
From Marble Canyon to Lava Falls Rapid and the Anasazi Ruins, this is the ultimate river trip. Be prepared for awe-inspiring geological formations, crystalline creeks, and waterfalls. Treat yourself to the ultimate vacation through one of the natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon, where time stands still.

Yuba River Salmon Tours
The South Yuba River hosts one of the last remaining wild salmon runs in California. ETC has partnered with the South Yuba River Citizens' League (SYRCL) in offering float trips on the Yuba to witness the endangered Chinook salmon return to their ancestral spawning grounds. Each trip is led by professionally trained raft guides and naturalists who will share the unique aquatic ecology and river history of this seasonal event.
